ola new eyeglasses

Haha fat chance to ever take a vain picture ever again..especially now that I have a new pair of eyeglasses. It’s been a while since I took a picture of myself hahahaha. I just love this new pair. No more blur, hello migraines! Since I put off buying a pair after losing the last one (circa 2007), my eyesight has been going haywire on me plus the fact that my work entails long hours looking for bugs and staring at the computer screen for hours, I feel my eyes going dry, and most of all, going blur at most times. For those who are used to wearing eyeglasses, you must’v had migraine attacks after a long time of not wearing eyeglasses. My eyes are adjusting to the comfort they are having and the correcting factor (I have astigmatism) that could’ve been added to the pain.

I am just so excited for the holidays! But booo hooo, I still have work until tomorrow (pretending to work? noooo..) and will pass my client issue test case and hoping that I won’t get as much corrections but well….corrections are goood

Dad ordered a ton of food from Conti’s for the 24th-25th. Waah! Hello jogging and swimming in our newly renovated clubhouse/pool! I shall maximize this vacation to redeem myself! =) I am perpetually on a diet!

no more mooolah. half broke.

Ok so I am half broke. Half meaning I just scratched half from my Christmas shopping list and will continue buying stuff by today.

I already bought a shirt for dad (from Nautica…sorry dad hindi ko afford ang Lacoste kasi if I get you a Lacoste shirt, I have to get one also for mama…). I got my mom a gift card from The Spa which would allow her to choose from their wide array of services as long as it’s within the amount I gave her or else she’ll pay for the excess. The good thing about that is she could reload (parang Time Zone powercard) any amount in case she wants to have another massage in the future. I got my sister a Burberry Weekend perfume and a Jansport Superbreak Cuban brown old school backpack for my brother. I also got John his gift — a Watchmen hardbound comic book and a Mighty Mugg — Thing (from Fantastic 4) toy.

I am broke as brokeback mountain (wth!) and I still have to pay for the Purple Oven goodies (Purple Oven supplies all the goodies that Starbucks stores are selling –CHEAPER!!!!) I ordered, will buy candy cane candies for my officemates, get Nicole her gift and will buy chocolates (additional stuff for my cousins’ gifts) and a gift for my Manager. I haven’t bought that pair of eyeglasses for myself as a present. I have to buy a dress/top for Christmas and hopefully a pair of sandals/shoes on sale from The Ramp. Gaaah. Pang mayaman lang ang Pasko this is actually draining me and my bank account.

//edit edit: So far for my eyeglass purchase, it so happens that my company has this promo (actually promo sha para saakin pero benefit pala talaga ito ng employees) that I could get a pair today at 20% off because I am an employee and deferred payment — salary deduction– for 6 payouts! (3 months) without interest. It feels like I have a credit card without the credit card! But too bad, way back in IBM, I got my pair of eyeglasses and I got a refund thanks to the Platinum card from Maxicare (though Maxicare din kami ngayon, we don’t have such perk) So in IBM, I got my pair for free! shucks. I miss that but heck, deferred payment is amazing for someone like me who always buy stuff in cash, deferred payment is awesome! I want a new pair and promise I will take care of it. =(

are you a sneaker fan?

I stumbled upon this really interesting site http://www.kicksfinder.com/finder/. I saw it and oohhh look at all the sneakers! I talked to my kabarkada and she is indeed a sneaker type of girl. =) I particularly like Nike Dunks for women but I am not sure if the lovely pairs suit me at all. I haven’t had the chance to try something on over at Nike. This site has a ton of sneakers to choose from! =) Ooohhh what a site(sight).
Its Christmas time..well almost here in our building! The office maintenance have already put up 4 Christmas trees with lights! I looove it! =) Everything looks so festive.

Do you love checking out the articles over at MSN.com? I enjoy reading their featured articles every now and then. There this article about “Finding a Job When You Don’t Know What You Want to Do”. I found the article funny and hitting me right smack in the face It’s just that, I constantly ask myself if IT is the way to go for me. Not that I hate my job or I am bored or I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life but..the funny thing is…I DO! I do know what I want, I do know how to get there the only question only lies on the fact that I just have to know where to start. Oh well. Plans plans plans. I am so full of it. I have to start living out those plans! =)

Eeeeep! It feels like I am in that movie “night of the living dead” once I step out of my office building. It’s really dark outside and it’s just 4pm! I expecting a huge downpour any minute!!!
